Happy Valentine's Day!
We woke up early, had coffee, and decided to hit the trails with Nevy before the snow got too deep. The snow wasn't supposed to last all day, but it was coming down fast! I didn't end up bringing my camera, but I snapped a quick picture with my phone because the trails were stunning!
For me, this is what Valentine's Day should be about. Spending quality time with those you love. It doesn't have to be about declarations of love on social media, shiny jewelry, absurdly large teddy bears, chocolates, or flowers. Just reminding those you care about; even friends, that you're thinking of them and appreciate that they're in your life.
Okay, I'll get off my soapbox. But here's a parting message to those who expect extravagant gifts and think it's all about the glitz and glamour:
Sorry, not sorry.
How did everyone else spend their day?! Let me know below!

Awkward Introduction Post
You can call me Fickle. I like dinosaurs, science, and salty food. I’m currently finishing my fourth year of nursing school and working in the operating room as a perioperative assistant. I love it, but the ultimate dream is to be paid to hike with dogs, ride my horse, or binge watch Netflix. My significant other (barf) and I have been together for six years, and he will be known as J.
